Does it ever stop??

So.. the holidays are over finally but that battle is still raging. Overall ive been able to maintain my weight fluctuating +/- 3lbs or so. What does that mean for the future.. well, I finally got some goggles and started swimming again at the gym (yes im still going) and im considering upping my gym days to 4 or 5 times a week.. ive got the membership.. why not right?. Also hopefully starting monday Im going to start a new routine. Its a little extreme (to me anyway) so I hope I can hang. I will post pre and post numbers when the time comes.

Anyway.. I know its been a long time since my last blog and for that I apologize but rest assured Im still here and still diligent. Now its time to start posting some more numbers. Lets get out there and fight the good fight!

Post T-Day 2010 breakdown

SO T-day has come and gone (thanksgiving for those not in the know) and as I had figured (and come to terms with) i gained a little. Not much about 4 lbs or so but a gain is a gain. Keeping at it its slowly coming down. Goggles still havent arrived yet (hopefully today) so I can get back into swimming more. I feel I was losing the most when I was swimming so I need to get back to that. In other news our car is crapping out on us. Need to get it fixed this weekned so there goes a huge chunk of our Xmas money. Thankfully my brother knows what hes doing so were taking it to him this weekend. Wish I had time to write more but its almost time to leave for work. I know its been a long stretch between post and ill try to do better. CHEERS!

Countdown to T-Day 2010

Thanksgiving here I come. I will honestly try to not overdo it this holiday but then again its turkey day and calories dont count LOL. Im excited, I have some goggles on the way to me (Thnx mom!) so ill be able to swim again. I also started using the reciprocal bike at the gym.. whoa..consider my butt kicked. 200 calories in 18 minutes. I cant hardly walk aftwards. Another upnote Im able to fit into some dickies I havnt really EVER been able to fit into. I wore them when I was bouncing but they were pretty tight, but now they fit pretty nice. Im feeling pretty good about meeting my 20lb mark by the end of the month, might even pass it. Stay tuned for more updates. ^_^

Mid November

approx 2 months down... and I feel good. so my goal for 2 months was 20 lbs... I stepped on the scale this morning and the verdict is.......323lbs. Missed it by 2 lbs. Oh well I just gotta keep on keepin on. The new work schedule is working out which is nice since i dont have to wake up ass early to go to the gym. To think.. if I REALLY push myself in another two months I might hit 300. That would be sweet.

OOPS! missed one

Seems I missed a post last week. Lets see where am I. Gym is going well for the most part. I lost my goggles so swimming isnt as good as before (if anyone wants to contribute to my "Get Jason new goggles fund" I would greatly appreciate it. It goes along with the "Get Jason some weights fund" thats already established.

My work schedule changed this week (stupid daylight savings) so now I go in an hour later. Its nice I get to sleep in a bit now but it means I dont get to come home and eat before school on those days. I have to go straight there. Oh well the semester is over in Dec so im not too worried about it.

I didnt post a weight from the first I dont think so I stepped on the scale today. 325lbs. Last time I was this low was when I had my wisdom teeth yanked and was on a liquid diet for 4 days. slowly but surely its coming off. My next personal milestone is 20 lbs gone. im sitting at 16 right now so im not too far off. Wish me luck. Well.. time for work.

Another week down

This week hasnt been the greatest. I started last friday when I came down with a headcold wich carried over into monday so I missed the gym. Tuesday I felt better so I did some p90X but didnt sleep very well that night so I didnt go to the gym on Wednesday. I did however make up for it on thursday by going and swimming laps. Yesterday started really well. Went to the gym again, warmed up, started doing a bunnch of weights but on my last set of my last exercise I pulled something in my shoulder/trap area. When I work up this morning I hardly move my head without it feeling like it was on fire. Popped a Motrin and tried to relax most of the day. Definitely going to be doing laps on monday. Weights are going to have to wait.

Ok well off to do my chores. Cheers all!

Week 5.. what!

Hello neighbors. Nice to see you again. Wont you sit and join me.

My birthday was great, thanks to all my family and friends that could share it with me or at least send me some well wishes. I let myself go over the weekend but to my surprise... I didn't really see a gain. Here we are at Friday again (Thank god this week has been brutal). Official weigh in isn't until the first but you know me.. I cant help myself so I stepped up on the scale and what do ya know 329lbs. "My god Jim I think its working!" Ive also had a few people say I look better. In my mind though with it being such a small loss I'm thinking they may just be complimenting me for motivation or just to be nice or whatever but Ive gotten it on good confidence from the wifey that she says I don't look as pregnant as I did before so its definitely encouraging. Anywhatsit heres how my week went

Mon: Gym. Swam a bunch of laps

Tuesday: to tired from the night before (set up Madison's big girl bed, rearranged furniture and homework) Had to skip otherwise i wasn't going to make it at work.

Wed: Gym. This day was a bust, i got to the gym a little early even to try and swim laps and the pool was packed! So I hung around the hottub for a bit but it just seemed to get worse so I thought I would go lift some weights.. well being a swim day I didnt bring my sneakers so I couldnt warm up properly. I did some arm and back stuff but it just didnt feel right so I left.

Thurs: P90X. I was excited for this day. My friend terry got me some weights so Im finally able to do some of the other routines. I cant wait to do more!

and then theres today. A headcold that came about last night put me off of working out today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Well im gonna be late to work if i dont stop here. Cheers everyone!
